We are looking for candidates that are dependable, hard-working, quick learners, good customer service skills, able to follow specific instructions and utilize customer specific computer systems.

Job Title:   Sample Management Coordinator

Duration:   Until 03/31/19

Schedule:  Mon. - Fri. 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay rate:    $ 16 hour

Location:   Malvern, 19355


  • Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.
  • Operates equipment in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Independently reads specifications and procedures.
  • Requires knowledge of the processes involved in documenting experiments.
  • Maintains laboratory notebook, testing records, or worksheets according to established laboratory procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Purpose of Position:

  • Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analysis as required for basic operations within a laboratory setting under the guidance of an associate scientist, lab science manager, or equivalent.
  • Adhere to SOP’s
  • Provide detailed scientific summary reports of lab activities to service requestor. 
  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices, as needed.
  • Perform system checks as needed or as part of a maintenance routine within a laboratory environment. 
  • Maintain clean common lab areas
  • Assist in obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, following up with vendors for laboratory goods and consumables.
  • Ensure hazardous and bio hazardous materials are correctly handled and stored.
  • Triage/escalate equipment and service issues as needed.
  • Assist in writing work instructions and SOP’s for equipment based on manuals and requirements provided by the manufacturer.


  • High school diploma or GED required; associates degree or BA/BS Degree in science preferred.
  • 1 year experience working within a laboratory setting.
  • Strong process optimization skills and scientific trouble shooting skills.
  • Fully computer literate and competent with all office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, hands on, organized with strong ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
