Job Description

Stable and successful health and beauty cosmetic company is currently looking for skilled Sanitizing Associates to join their team. 

The basic function of the Sanitizer is to clean and sanitize all tanks, equipment, facility utensils, hoses, drums, totes, filling equipment, and work area according to the Company sanitation procedures. The incumbent also preforms basic maintenance of the cleaning equipment to ensure all tools are available for ongoing use.
Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather all tools and paper work for the shift inclusive of conducting preparatory protocols.
  • Sanitizes equipment, including, but not limited to tanks, totes, facility utensils, drums and hoses.
  • Ensure the proper sanitization of feed lines, filling equipment and pumps for the Production areas.
  • Assists in the set up and changeovers of the production lines according to standard operating procedures.
  • Keeps up with Master Sanitation Cleaning Schedule, weekly, monthly, yearly etc.
  • Ensures inventory of all cleaning equipment and alerts Supervisor when any supplies are needed.
  • Responsible for reporting safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
  • Follow all Safety guidelines, such as, but not limited to:

• GMP’s
• Allergen Program
• Sanitation
• Quality

Minimum Requirements
1 year of Sanitation Experience, 2 years preferred with CIP knowledge background.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and high pressure cleaning equipment
• Worked or exposure in a manufacturing environment and raw material / component warehouse
• Knowledge of Cleaning in Place (CIP)
• Ability to understand and follow standard procedures and GMP’s
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work with minimum supervision
• Good writing and reading skills.
• Good math skills
• Good communication skills/ English
• Ability to lift 65lbs.

14.00 to 14.50 DOE.  Resume Submittal only.  (They will conduct walk through during interview)

  • Will be considered for Hire after 90 days.
  • 1st shift needs 3  6:00am 8 hour shift Monday -Friday.  Available to work Sat. if needed
  • 2nd shift needs 3 2:30pm 8 hour shift Monday -Friday.  Available to work Sat. if needed
  • 3rd shift needs 4 10:30pm 8 hour shift Monday -Friday.  Available to work Sat. if needed
  • Potential to eventually become a Lead
  • With CIP exp. (Clean In Place)
