Screw Machine Operator 1st/2nd Shift in Lake Forest, CA at Volt

Job Description

Volt has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Lake Forest to help identify Screw Set Up Machine Operators for both 1^st and 2^nd shift.  

Duties:

• Operate screw machines
• Follow machine procedures
• Read prints
• Change tools
• Learn set up, power setting, and off-sets
• Measure parts to be machined
• Use comparators, tool maker’s microscopes, etc
• Use measuring devices, gage blocks and dial indicators
• Perform inspection  

Requirements:

• Experience using micrometers, comparators, and calipers to inspect parts
• Must have mill/lathe experience
• Basic set up experience preferred
• Experience changing tools and/or programs
• Screw machine experience a plus

Positions are temp to hire. Pay rate is based on experience. The schedules are M-F from 7am – 3:30 or 3:30pm to 12am with overtime required as needed.
