We are seeking an individual to fill a position as a scrum master with a local company here in Hillsboro OR.

The Scrum Master I serves as a coach, mentor and servant leader for the Scrum team. The Scrum Master I ensures that the Scrum process is not disrupted from outside influences that will be detrimental to the team’s ability to complete their work and assists the team in removing impediments.
• Responsible for scheduling and facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily standup, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint demo, retrospective).
• Oversee Scrum process and ensure Scrum team is not adversely impacted by outside influences (i.e. work requests that are not part of the team’s backlog).
• Assist as needed, with clearing obstacles identified by the team and/or guiding team to the right process or resource to clear the impediment.
• Lead agile teams through the process of becoming self-organized and empowered to determine best way to get the work done.
• Prepare metrics to communicate Agile team maturity, velocity trends, burndown rate, etc.
• Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. 
• Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.  


• Associate, Vocation or Technical Degree in Computer Science, Business Process Improvement is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (within 6 months of hire date) is required.
• Certified Scrum Professional is preferred.
• 1 - 3 years experience leading/coaching Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban/Scrumban) in an Enterprise environment.
• Basic knowledge of the well-documented patterns and practices of Scrum (i.e. ceremonies, burndown techniques, various retrospective formats, etc.).
