The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of tool sets to augment QA and development testing.

The SDET will work closely with software developers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality software applications are delivered into production utilizing Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Create and execute test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
  • Identify, document and track issues found during testing.
  • Support deployments into all environments.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing phase with business users.
  • Support Operations team triage Production issues as needed.

Experience:

  • Writing applications using C# and VB.Net
  • 3+ years of software testing experience with test and defect management tools.
  • Automated testing experience - experience developing and executing automated test plans and test cases
  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, CSS, OOD, TDD, SQL Server, and IIS
  • C#, .NET
  • Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Microsoft Test Manager/TFS
  • Agile development (Scrum)
  • SQL Server,
