Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a well-known and respected winery in Fresno, CA for multiple Production Supervisor opportunities! We are seeking experienced Production Supervisors. These positions require the ability to manage employees, production leads, and quality workers.  If you are looking for a solid supervisory/management position with a dynamic company, this is the opportunity you are looking for. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties Includes the following (other duties may be assigned or removed upon requirement):

  • Plan a production schedule for daily works
  • Implement and control the production schedule, review and adjust the schedule when needed
  • Determine all resources required to meet production targets
  • Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
  • Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations and ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Set and monitor product quality standards of products
  • Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
  • Determine and implement improvements to the production process
  • Provide and maintain production reports
  • Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
  • Provide training to workers 
  • Analyze and identify all performance related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and preferred 5 years of supervisory experience in a winery, distillery, fruit juice processing, or food processing facility.
  • Must have Food Manufacturing experience
  • USDA knowledge and experience    
  • Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Possess good communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Applicant must have a valid California Driver’s License and must be able to work any and all shifts, weekends and overtime.

Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 /hour DOE
