Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions  is seeking an experienced industrial security professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals for a facility employing 700+ personnel in Boulder CO.

Position requires current SECRET eligibility to start and ability to upgrade to TS.

This position will support multiple programs as a Security Administrator responsible for implementing National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government directed regulations. Candidate should be well versed in these collateral requirements.

Responsibilities will include:
• Administering security processes necessary for facility operations primarily focused on document control, identification, marking, accounting and transmission of classified information.
• Lead for conducting applicant security interviews.
• Assist with off-site support such as Visitor Group Security Agreements, OPSEC manuals, security POCs, personnel roster maintenance.
• Supporting the implementation of corporate and local security practices and procedures to affect positive compliance by all employees to include updates to the Crisis Management Plans and Emergency Response Plans.
• Through the JPAS system, process visit requests and SIMS data entry.
• Assisting in maintaining security access control systems to ensure proper safeguarding and circulation control. Support badging and CAC processes.
• Conducting self-inspections to ensure compliance with government policy and procedures locally as well as remote locations to ensure contractual security obligations are adhered to.

Ability to travel within the US and abroad is required.
• Assisting in developing Security Education, Training and Awareness briefing materials and maintaining training records of assigned personnel.
• Backup New Hire orientations.
• Assist Facility Security Officer with records keeping and archiving.

Education and Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 3-5 years’ experience and practical application of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
  • Manage multiple tasks and coordinate activities within deadlines
  • Experienced with security processes and procedures as they relate to all the security disciplines within the DoD. • JPAS Certifications and experience
  • Experience with suite of Microsoft Office programs and applications, Security Information Management Software (SIMS) and BRIVO. • Experience processing and management of DD254s. • Should be cognizant of government security requirements • Sound and logical thinking in choosing a particular course of action. • Demonstrated experience working in teams and matrixed environments • Excellent writing, speaking and customer skills are strongly desired
