Job Description


  • Performs assembly duties in accordance with pre-established labor and quality standards.
  • Performs assembly as required by manufacturing processes.
  • Records any product statistical measurements when required.
  • Maintains a clean & organized work area.
  • Maintains flexible hours.
  • Specific Position Requirements: ***Max Bill Rate of $21.05, $120 safety shoe voucher*** 2nd shift SMT 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday - Friday with overtime expected during seasonal peaks.
  • Candidates must be able to speak, read and comprehend the English language very well.
  • Resume or work history must be included with all submittals.
  • ASTM approved safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required.
  • Perform general operation and maintenance of SMT machines. JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform general operation and setup of equipment.
  • Perform general start-up and shutdown procedures.
  • Assist mechanical engineer on new projects.
  • Perform general Preventative Maintenance and calibrations.
  • Must stay current with relevant acceptance criteria.
  • Perform rework techniques and repairs.
  • Perform statistical measurements and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment log.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Education or equivalent REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, previous work experience required.
  • High degree of manual dexterity.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand for an 8 hour shift and to push/pull/lift up to 26 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-starter, and work with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrated computer skills required, including ability to interpret prompts and graphs, field input requirements, and understanding of daily reports.
  • Ability to problem solve and determine appropriate level of escalation needed.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to apply quality control techniques.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and follow work instructions (MWI, SOP, etc.).
  • 9. Experience with productivity, quality, and safety and environmental language and goals.
  • 10. Demonstrated hand tool knowledge and operation.
  • 11. Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • 12. Must have continual, acute numeric recognition.
