Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a leading gaming company in Santa Monica to help identify an HR Analyst for immediate hire.

Job Duties:

  • Analytical capability and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research, assess, interpret and validate data and to make connections with identified data patterns
  • Conducts predictive and behavioral modeling in support of the business for turnover and retention, workforce effectiveness, and employee engagement
  • Leads the delivery of ad hoc analyses on HR topics to drive strategic and tactical decision making and conducts trend analysis to measure ongoing results
  • Benchmarks key measures against external industry, region and "best in class" peers and applies best practice research to identify links between human capital and business performance and improve predictive capability
  • Deliver a range of analysis activities - data extraction, analysis and recommendations
  • Deliver operational dashboards, metrics analyses/queries at agreed service levels


  • BA or BS required, MS or PHD preferred 
  • 4+ years professional experience in workforce analytics with exposure and understanding of reporting and HR systems  
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and presenting data in a simple and engaging way
  • Experience with human capital data & analytics
  • Ability to synthesize data, metrics and analysis across different functions of Human Resources, multiple systems, internal and external sources and integrate into a holistic, actionable direction
  • Technical / systems knowledge, experience and capabilities required with direct exposure to HR / Recruitment Data systems (e.g. Workday, Glint, Avature), database management, visualization, and reporting tools (e.g. Visier, Tableau, Qlik Sense)
  • Experience with statistical analysis, predictive and behavioral modeling
  • Expertise in statistical languages/packages (SPSS, R, Python, SAS, etc)
  • Collaborative team player with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills
  • High-impact communication skills with ability to present complex data in logical, concise and insightful ways
  • Results orientation with strong track record of success and real impact
  • Evidence of learning quickly and ability to build on existing business foundations
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Ability to oversee and deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Integrity, advanced professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company and employee information

Position is temporary expected to last 6 months. Pay is between $75-100/hr
