Senior Parts Manager

Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring for a world-renowned heavy equipment manufacturing company that is ranked in the top 25% of largest companies in their field.

About the company: This company handles more than $1.5 billion in sales revenue, selling more than 37,000 total units (for the year end). This company is an industry trend setter – claiming 20 manufacturing facilities, and 19 different product lines currently.

This North American headquarters has been open in the Houston area for more than 10 years. This headquarters serves as the sales hub, technical support and spare parts distribution center for existing and potential dealers and customers in the region.

This company headquarters is in WEST HOUSTON AREA (Katy)

Job duties include:

  • Manages corporate parts P&L, staff development, and overall KPI as defined by management
  • Source locally for initiatives; work with purchasing and suppliers as well as provide part training to the dealer network
  • Cross trains the company products and assists in development of new software to support all supports
  • Ongoing commitment – delivering excellent customer service and driving the spirit of growth
  • Develops market plans, stocking incentives, and other initiatives to grow the parts business, providing superior support in After Sales
  • Superior communication and follow-up
  • You should have the ability to develop, motivate, and assist all direct report employees
  • As needed- packs and unpacks parts
  • Communicates with sales & service departments’ requests promptly
  • Heads inventory reports; maintains the proper inventory levels
  • Research and recommend proper parts with staff in overseas office
  • You will be responsible for departmental receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping functions to the highest standard

This employee reports to the Director of After Sales

  • CE / FL
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years (heavy machinery industry) experience
  • Parts technical knowledge
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Team player with analytic, technical, customer service, problem solving, quality management, dependability, and quality management skills
