Job Description

A rapidly growing medical device company is looking for Senior Project Engineer to join our Research and Development Team. The Sr. Project Engineer will be responsible for the complete design, development, medical products, and extension of current product lines. Requires coordination of both internal and external resources, to achieve goals in a timely manner, cost effectively and in alignment with market needs, cost constraints and regulatory requirements. Must have experience in electro-mechanical design development and molding technologies. Experience with polymers technology a plus.

-Design new products and support current product line
-Develop products in compliance with Design Control requirements
-Design and support manufacturing for molded products
-Perform other functions to support company interests as directed by management

Qualifications (Knowledge and Experience):
-Minimum of six years in similar role at medical device company for Class I, II or III device, required.
-Experienced in developing product within a Design Control environment and in creating all supporting documentation.
-Demonstrated competence and familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, required
-Project management experience is essential to create realistic timelines and schedules, required
-Proficient in CAD Solid modeling using SolidWorks, required
-Knowledge of Mechanics of Materials, tolerance analysis, and test engineering
-Design Thinking experience and Agile Development are preferred
-College degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering or Equivalent required.
-Masters in Engineering or Equivalent preferred

Compensation: 85k to 92k DOE
