Job Description

" We are currently looking for a 

Senior Hardware & Rack Assembly Technician in Richmond,CA."

Summary:

Responsible for producing custom hardware components and rack assembly based on quality standards and control methods. This position works closely with Lead, Assembly to following proper instructions and procedures. This position is responsible for testing and assembly of complex custom STERIS systems, including CXPS, SXPS, and XPS, and assembling customer cables.

Essential Job Duties

  • Inspect and scan all PCBA. 
  • Perform re-work and touch up based on production requirements.
  • Assemble and test company products as necessary. 
  • Adhere to system drawings and ISO procedures. 
  • Provide feedback for workflow improvements. 
  • Follow all quality standards. 
  • Work with safety, efficiency and accuracy as priorities require at all times; Ensure quality and safety standards are continuously followed.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • HS Degree required
  • 4 or more years’ experience in a comparable field.
  • 2 or more years’ experience with soldering and IPC610 Class 1 protocol required. 
  • Basic electrical knowledge and proficiency with test and collaboration equipment required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to lift between 25-30 lbs.
  • Ability to be stationary and complete repetitive tasks a significant part of the time.
  • Experience with audio video preferred.
