Job Description



Position Requirement Overview:

This position is responsible for being the QA team lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on quality assurance for the software development team focused on developing complex and dynamic browser-based applications. The SQA Engineer will review functional requirements and user stories from business partners; design test plans, write test cases, oversee test strategies and perform testing for assigned applications. Testing will include functional and nonfunctional, integration, regression, system, smoke and sanity testing.

  • Five or more years of experience in software QA
  • Design, develop and maintain/enhance the QA automation software
  • Design, implement and document test cases and add test cases to the automated test suites
  • Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction
  • Must have applied experience in test automation framework
  • In depth experience with iterative SDLC processes such as SCRUM, Agile, etc.
  • Database experience (SQL Server, T-SQL)
  • SAP HANA integration experience highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, UFT (QTP) or similar
  • Experience working with eCommerce or Multi-Level Marketing industry is a plus
  • Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers that aid in the successful completion of initiatives within a functional area.
  • Able to serve as a team leader as well as a QA engineer.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and follow through on assignments to completion
  • Excellent English language oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, work ethic and customer service orientation
