Mid-Market Solutions Provider focused on IT Infrastructures. We specialize in Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, Networking, Security, Virtualization technologies and Enterprise Storage. We also have a fully redundant Enterprise Cloud Computing environment located in two separate Tier 4 datacenters.

The primary role for this position would be focused on implementing and integrating various IT Infrastructure technologies as mentioned above with an emphasis on Project Design and Implementations in our Project Consulting Services Enterprise Solutions Team. Project duration ranges from several weeks to several months in length.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Clarifying client’s system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
  • Travelling to customer sites
  • Liaising with staff at all levels of a client organization
  • Analyzing IT requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of IT
  • Developing agreed solutions and implementing new systems
  • Presenting solutions in written or oral reports
  • Prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Assisting clients with change-management activities during project engagements
  • Designing, testing, installing and monitoring new systems
  • Preparing and delivering complete documentation for all project engagements
  • Presenting progress reports to Project Manager, Account Executive and or Operations Director
  • Organizing training for client users and other consultants as required
  • Assist Sales, Project Management and Operations Director where needed
  • Identifying potential clients and building and maintaining contacts
  • Excellent troubleshooting and written/verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills

Advanced to expert proficiency in some of the following:

  • Microsoft Windows Administration tools (AD Users and Computers, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Sites and Services, etc.)
  • Microsoft Active Directory (Architect, Implementations, Migrations)
  • Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013/2016 (Architect, Implementations, Migrations)
  • Citrix Technologies (Architect, Implementations, Migrations)
    • XenServer
    • XenApp
    • XenDesktop
    • Web Interface
    • Secure/Access Gateway
    • NetScaler & WANScaler
  • VMware Server Virtualization Technologies (Architect, Implementations, Migrations)
  • Citrix Application/Desktop Virtualization Technologies (Architect, Implementations, Migrations)
  • Backup / DR strategies (Architect, Implementation and Administration)
  • Systems Upgrades including security patch management
  • Monitoring of system utilization and application performance
  • Understanding of network infrastructures and troubleshooting various networking protocols including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Experience with various network hardware systems such as but not limited to Cisco Switches, Firewalls, Routers, Ironport and Aironet, HP ProCurve, Dell Powerconnect, Force10 and Sonicwall, and Meraki line of products
  • Experience with various Enterprise level server hardware such as but not limited to Dell PowerEdge servers, HP ProLiant Blade servers, Cisco UCS servers, etc
  • Experience with Enterprise Storage solutions such as but not limited to CML, Tegile, EqualLogic, ExaGrid, Compellent

 

EDUCATION 

  • At least 7 years hands on IT experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Citrix Certifications CCAA, CCEE strongly desired
  • Microsoft Certifications MCSA, MCSE, MCITP Server strongly desired
  • VMWare Certifications VCP, VCAP strongly desired
  • Cisco CCNA certification desired
