Position: SharePoint Developer/Admin
Type: Contingent
Duration: 6-12 Months (Possible Ext) 
Location: Denver CO

The SharePoint Developer/Admin role is responsible for supporting and improving our SharePoint application environment by collaborating with IT and business users to sustain and improve an environment that enables the company to operate simply and efficiently. This role will maintain, support and build upon our SharePoint environment which includes departmental sites, document libraries, electronic forms, workflows, calendars, and more. This role will leverage technical expertise and customer service skillset to troubleshoot and correct production issues for our various systems. This role will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to understand the business processes and build relationships with key business users.

Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Top Must-Have Hard Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in Information Technology including a strong working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Experience providing end-to-end ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a food manufacturing industry
  • Experience in application support or application development

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Act as a primary support point and escalation point for L2/L2.5 SharePoint issues from our facilities and offices across North America.
  • Work closely with business partners to design solutions and support requirements within SharePoint
  • Drive internal improvement opportunities for education, process re-engineering and/or automation within the SharePoint domain.
  • Participate in an after-hours support rotation to provide support to end users if necessary.
  • Act as the End-to-end owner of problems, issues, or escalations
  • Perform escalations when necessary to vendors or internal departments and works with the other party to resolve the issue to the satisfaction of the end user
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide enhancements and support to our users in a timely manner and with a positive customer service attitude.
