Job Description

Volt is seeking a Shipper/Packer for one of our client in Ringoes, NJ. This is a first shift position, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, offering $13.00-$14.00/hr DOE.

Overtime is also available.
Positions are Contract-to-Hire for the right candidates!

About the Client:

• Supplier of highly engineered springs, specialty fasteners, machined parts and other precision components.
• Provide solutions to a wide range of markets including: Aerospace, Agriculture/Construction, Automotive, Consumer Products & Tools, Energy/Gas/Oil, Heavy Truck, Industrial, Medical, Military, Motorsports/Recreation, Spring Energized Seals, Transit, and Valves.

JOB SUMMARY
The Shipper/Packer is responsible for the processing of all daily shipping activities ensuring the timely delivery of shipments.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Verifies products prior to packaging and follows packaging instructions.
• Prepares items for shipment, including completing shipping notices, bills of lading and any other required documents.
• Determines shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods to meet shipping schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Ensures accuracy, completeness and condition of outgoing shipments.
• Packages product according to work instructions.

Candidates will have 1-3 years experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments 
Experience in packing items and preparing for shipment.
