Job Description

We are currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to work with our client located in Aurora, IL. Our client designs, manufactures, markets and sells high performance, first-fill greases and coatings for OEMS and their suppliers. 

Job Summary:

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for all shipping and receiving details on a daily basis.


  • Utilize the following equipment including but not limited to: propane, electric forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and drum carts. Additionally, they will be required to access the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system to obtain necessary information to facilitate their job functions.
  • Pull finished goods off the shelves to fill the customer orders.
  • Contact the appropriate carrier to arrange for item pick up.
  • Load appropriate and unload materials from the   carrier.
  • Time stamp and return shipping BOL paperwork to customer service Receiving.
  • Cross check all documentation for verification, what was ordered, what was said shipped and what was actually received.
  • Cross check lot number against established C of A data in the Quality System.
  • Provide samples to the lab for verification based on Quality System specifications.
  • Properly label all incoming materials and transfer from receiving hold area to the correct racking location.
  • Ensures the organization pursues the highest standards of health, safety, security and environmental performance by ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within all areas of operations.
  • Ensures all operations are conducted in a manner that promotes safe work practices and avoids risk to employees, neighbors and the environment.
  • Works to ensure that shipping is error free,i.e. product, weight, Lot number, container, location.
  • Supports the organizations quality standards and registrations.
  • Fosters the commitment necessary to understand, meet and, when possible, exceed our Customer's Requirements through the continuous improvement of our processes.
  • Is dedicated to delivering defect-free production-time, first time all the time.


  • This position requires basic abilities associated with reading, writing, computer skills and math skills.
  • This is an entry level position and onsite training will be provided.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented, able to successfully multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must have forklift experience. 

This is a temp to hire opportunity on first shift paying between $15-17/hr depending on experience.
