Job Description

We are seeking a Shipping Clerk candidate; responsible for supporting the Shipping operations in the accurate and timely execution of the company’s load plan in shipping outbound finished goods orders.  In addition, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for performing the department’s quality check functions.  This includes load verification, analysis, and reporting.

Job Description

  • Execute the company’s transportation plan by shipping all outbound customer orders with the assigned carriers.
  • Validate order quantities and generate all required shipping documents and labels.
  • Transact all shipping activities within the company’s Transportation Management system.
  • Work with load teams to ensure the accurate loading of all outbound freight.
  • Actively communicate all equipment and pickup requirements to all carriers as needed.
  • Coordinate all expedite shipping requirements with Transportation and Customer Service teams.
  • Respond to and resolve any identified in-transit shipment discrepancies.
  • Field Transportation and Customer Service e-mails and phone calls as needed.
  • Other duties as required.
  • 2nd shift 3:30pm-12am Monday- Friday OT is mandatory when needed
  • Pay rate $14.50
