Warehouse – Shipping Coordinator

Volt is immediately hiring a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator for a local leading organization in WASCO, CA. 

The shipping coordinator will help with a variety of office related tasks including preparing documentation for production as well as coordinating shipping between ports and trucking lines.

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will:

• Prepare receiving or shipping reports and note any shortages or damages
• Evaluate inventory levels and notifies purchasing agent when reorders are necessary Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes

Shipping Coordinator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• International and Domestic Shipping Experience
• Experience Dealing with Freight Forwarders and Carriers
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements

Pay for this position is $17.50 to $19 /hr depending on experience.
