Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for a Receiving-Inspection Associate for our client, a startup company in Redmond focusing on research and development of high performance healthcare devices. This assignment will be for approximately 6 months. We are looking for an experienced technician to join a small but growing team. Someone who is friendly and fun to match the company culture, works hard and follows through on commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Materials & Inventory Control
  • Receive parts on Purchase Orders in ERP system, and catalog miscellaneous incoming goods.
  • Perform incoming part inspection per provided inspection criteria in PLM system, using standard inspection tools: calipers, drop gauges, Go/NoGo gauges, etc.
  • Create non-conforming material reports for discrepant material.
  • Assist in unloading of trucks as necessary.
  • Replenish inventory to support production line.
  • Assist in inventory counts and cycle count activities.
  • Manage consumable inventory.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2 years experience with shipping/logistics, material handling or inventory control.
  • General knowledge of manufacturing environment: raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the manufacture of products.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience in the medical ultrasound field is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment a plus but not required (Go-No-Go Gauges, Callipers, etc).
