Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Skype for Business Administrator to work onsite at our client’s facility in Moline, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 2 years.

Our client’s collaboration team is looking for a motivated individual to support an enterprise-wide Skype for Business Server environment. Ideally, the candidate would also have experience in supporting a Skype for Business Online environment.    

Duties Include:

  • Performing application and service health checks of Skype for Business infrastructure.
  • Managing current infrastructure to maintain SLA’s and KPI’s for optimal performance and interoperability.
  • Responsible for project and support task tracking, process execution and metrics supported technologies.
  • Apply system changes and infrastructure upgrades as needed.
  • Assist and provide technical direction to a diverse global team.
  • Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with business partners in support of business strategies.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations regarding technical processes and procedures.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience implementing and supporting Skype for Business Server and related services (IM, Conferencing, Application Sharing, Mobile).
  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in PowerShell and scripting for Skype for Business administration and reporting.
  • Background in SQL and reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange integration to Skype for Business Server.
  • Experience with change management process.
  • Experience integrating multiple systems with Skype for Business (Cisco, Avaya, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge in networking.
  • On-call rotation 12x7, approximately once per month.

***This position is located in Moline, IL. Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.***
