Software Analyst in Moline, IL at Volt

Volt is seeking a Software Analyst to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in Moline, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.  Within this role, you will build the work needed to implement functionality from the product backlog (managed by the product owner).  You will determine the size of user stories and create automated test scripts and execute all other
testing-related tasks.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technology or Information Technology discipline

Required

• Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ES6 updates
• Development experience with React and its latest features - Redux, CSS Modules
• Ability to do TDD with a recognized framework (using Jest is a plus)
• Basic knowledge of Webpack, Webpack loaders, and other configurations

A strong candidate will also have

• Knowledge beyond what create-react-app teaches, like setting up a project from scratch
• Experience in TypeScript
• Tooling experience with NodeJS
• Experience with progressive web applications
• Knowledge in CI/CD concepts

*** This position is located in Moline, IL.  It will start remote due to COVID, but the successful candidate is expected to be onsite once our client’s facility reopens.  Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.  ***

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
