SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – URGENT NEED – DIRECT HIRE – GREENFIELD, IN

Are you in the Software Development field to make seamless business applications?  Do you want your work to have direct impact on others? 

The software developer’s role will be to assist with the planning, developing, implementation, and maintenance sales configurations and other custom business applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with internal and external users to define, develop, and document business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications for custom business applications.

• Collaborate with other programmers in analyzing, conceptualizing, writing, coding, and testing business applications according to specifications.

• Assist in deploying business applications to end users as required.

• Train end users to operate new or modified business applications.

• Support, recommend, schedule, and perform ongoing business application improvements and upgrades.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a team environment

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to analyze and document business requirements

• 2 years of software development experience

• 2 years of ASP.NET, VB or C#

• 2 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience, strong knowledge of the TSQL language for writing/understanding complex views, stored procedures, cursors, triggers, and functions

• General knowledge of object oriented programming

• Responsive web design a plus

• Developing using CAD technologies a plus

• Salesforce experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS degree in Information Technology or related field and 2 years progressive experience in software development are strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of BS degree.

Ability to communicate and provide constructive feedback in a positive nature at all levels of the organization regarding performance and objectives. Ability to lead, mentor and delegate by providing management and employees with clear direction. Ability to take direction from Officers and display a positive “can-do” attitude, strong work ethic and utilizing strong problem-solving skills. Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure with changing project priorities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and technical manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
