Software Engineer in East Moline, IL at Volt

Volt is seeking a Software Engineer to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in East Moline, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.  Within this role, you will develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems. 

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management
• 3+ years of experience in front-end design, development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Java) and optimization
• Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management, ETL processing, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
• 3+ years of experience in Informatica, Oracle, etc.
• Proven deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (1+ years - such as Jenkins)
• Deep experience with software test automation (TDD and Unit Testing Frameworks: Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Cypress) (1+ years)
• Experience developing and deploying solutions in an AWS Cloud environment
• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment (1+ years)
• Proven experience working in a team environment

Education:  Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering

*** This position is located in East Moline, IL.  It will start remote due to COVID, but the successful candidate is expected to be onsite once our client’s facility reopens.  Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.  ***

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
