Software Engineer – 6 months – Peachtree City, GA

Volt Workforce Solutions is proud to partner with a client who is recognized as a top 20 global supplier by Automotive News to some of the world’s leading vehicle makers to help define the future of transportation.  This is a 6 month contract as a Software Engineer in their Peachtree City, GA location.

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, modify, implement and perform evaluations of electrical test and error Proofing systems for manufacturing. You will be responsible for all aspects of a given project.

Position Duties:

  • Writes Windows application software as needed for test/error-proofing systems in a .NET C# environment.
  • Works with Sr. Engineer to design analog and digital circuitry required for test/error-proofing systems.
  • Develops automated test sequences based on design specifications.
  • Designs, tests, and implements test/error-proofing systems.
  • Plans, develops, and participates in experimentation and tests related to improvement of manufacturing processes and tests.
  • Generates and analyzes test data and reports to improve the current manufacturing process.
  • Assists in determining root cause of product nonperformance utilizing appropriate test equipment.
  • Prepares information as needed in the test system documentation process under the guidance of a Sr. Engineer.
  • Prepares schematics, products and component related specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM) as needed.
  • Operates General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB) controlled test equipment in order to test audio and video products.
  • Supports launch activities at our factories as needed.
  • May confer with research resources to resolve testing/error- proofing problems.
  • Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
  • Initiates, recommends, and/or provides solutions through designated channels.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Maximum 20% travel; may be international


  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience with microelectronics, testing (preferred, but not required)
  • Solid software development .NET/C#.
  • Exceptional candidate will be curious, have a sense of urgency and high attention to detail and likes to be held accountable.
