Job Description

The Software Development Engineer will have software development and hardware integration testing experience and will work in a team environment supporting multiple production programs through test software test software development.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of software solutions utilizing test systems hardware for RF test engineering applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of test software solutions for RF system applications.  Solutions will include engineering lab software, production/factory test for RF modules, and test database applications and associated data analysis.

Required experience:

• Active DOD Secret Clearance
• Software development in C, C#, C++, Visual Basic, .NET
• Operating Systems: Windows
• Objected Oriented tool development experience
• Test Equipment software control
• System level networking and integration experience for combination of embedded and infrastructure devices
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities on multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Highly motivated self-starter

Preferred experience:

• 3-5 years of experience using National Instruments products - LabView, LabWindows CVI, TestStand
• 3-5 years of experience developing and debugging software within the Microsoft Visual Studio environment
• Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux
• RF measurements including PC (GPIB/LAN) controlled test equipment
• Synergy CM tool
• 3-5 years of experience accessing databases such as Oracle for the purpose of data analysis
• Experience with Configuration Management tools
• Experience with the Software Development Process to include requirements development, design documentation, configuration management, and verification / validation methods
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
