**Specimen Accessioner needed! $16-$18/hr** in Tustin, CA at Volt

Job Description

Volt has partnered with a leading company in Tustin to help identify multiple Specimen Accessioners for immediate hire!  This company is a leader in the fight against COVID-19!

In this role you will assist with:.

• The individual will be trained on usage of key functions and will take on the responsibilities. 
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
• Completes all paperwork required to process and submit specimens.
• Coordinate with clinics, hospitals, etc. for sample submission process
• Follows standard sequences/coding when entering data and corrects, edits, and/or verifies data.

We are looking for someone with:

• High School Diploma required, Associate Degree, a plus
• 1-2 years’ experience in laboratory accessioning, a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

This position is temp. Hours are full time, M-F 8:30am-4:30pm.  Pay is between $16-18/hr based on experience.
