Job Description

Volt is seeking a Spiral Bevel Tooth Cutter - Second Shift in Downers Grove for a premier manufacturer of high precision gears for a wide variety of industries, encompassing aerospace and commercial customers.  Our client is also renowned for expertise in bevel gear design and development.  This capability, as well as an onsite heat treatment facility, places our client as a leading producer in the world market.

Job Requirements: 

  • Ability to select proper cutter per summary.
  • Ability to align blades as necessary.
  • Ability to select arbors, install and true-up.
  • Ability to select gearing and make setting per summary.
  • Ability to set up and inspect work on test machine.
