Job Description

We need a Business Analyst who will act as a liaison between end business users and the Technical Development and Support team. 

This consists of gathering, documenting and analyzing user requirements and recommending the configuration for applications.   You will also assist with the implementation of approved applications.

  • Perform functional analysis for business requested applications and make recommendations to the business.
  • Provide functionality support to end users as needed.
  • Assist in managing the process for projects.
  • Assist business and IS managers with plans to accomplish approved projects.
  • Meet with users to develop and finalize detailed requirements.
  • Assist with development of user test and acceptance documentation.
  • Coordinate and assist with user testing per plan.
  • Assist in developing the turnover package to Operations for production use.
  • Develop and conduct end user training for applications.
  • Report status to manager, as requested, and react immediately to any potential delays.
  • Acquire and improve skills in applications through education and professional organizations.
  • Assist with business continuation planning and disaster recovery planning and testing.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 2 years of applications experience is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience and working knowledge in two or more of the following business areas:  finance and accounting, order processing, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, warehouse management.
  • Exposure to applications preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Access Database and Hybris.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Schedule/deadline oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
