Volt is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst for our leading client in Rancho Cordova, CA. Volt’s Client is the leading provider of vision care and coverage and they are committed to provide superior eye care and services that create members for life.

Overview:
This is a Sr BA to assist in the Enterprise PMO (EPMO). Strong standard BA skills required within a large enterprise environment: End to end process development, requirements gathering and documentation, testing , procedures development. Candidates must have experience working with large, high-visibility projects in both business and technical arenas. Must have worked in a PMO environment, preferably EPMO, and a healthcare background is ideal. Must be driven and adaptable. Experience in the following industries: Supply Chain, Retail and e-commerce, Insurance (ideal).

  • They should have a structured way to do analysis from requirements elicitation/gathering, story writing, process flow development, diagraming and other tools (ERD, data flows, context diagrams, six sigma, wire frames/mock-ups, test cases).
  • Self-starters and can hit the ground running.
  • Essentially, they can recommend and assess what needs to be done vs. being directed.
  • Folks should be able to navigate and work effectively with all levels of the organization

There is a potential for extension and/or conversion.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of experience in data gathering, research & analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations
  • Five years of experience with financial and risk analysis, making recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis
  • Five years of in depth knowledge of project planning techniques and methodologies
  • Five years of experience with business process analytics using Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams and workflow models
  • Demonstrated ability to document, propose, negotiate and present approaches and solutions
  • Ability to visualize and create plans for future business outcomes and change. Thorough understanding of business implications, project interdependencies and system interfaces
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Proficient at facilitating meetings, and negotiating across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties.
