VOLT’s client is looking for a Systems Analyst

This is a long term contract Contingent/Temporary position in Ephrata, WA and offered through Volt Workforce Solutions.  We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support many of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

  • Consults with end users and stakeholders (Project Managers, Scrum team, technologists, vendors, etc.) and conducts technical analysis of systems and applications in order to support, troubleshoot, configure, implement and test as effectively as possible
  • Assist users with account access, maintenance, security roles and custom reports
  • Investigates problems with existing systems and delivers solutions while maintaining systems compatibility and enabling integration.
  • Provides software application support including incident and problem management. Conducts performance testing and troubleshooting on applications. Facilitates user group meetings to discuss roadmaps, findings and brainstorm solutions. Documents changes, decision-making processes, system requirements, and work activity. Provides on-call support - after hours / weekends as required
  • Performs root cause analysis on reported or discovered problems and analyzes systems to identify capability gaps, efficiency improvements and growth strategies. Recommends and implements changes to business processes to utilize new system capabilities and features.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in systems analysis, requirements definition, system design and system implementation
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise ERP system, preferably Dynamics GP
  • 2-3 years of SQL development skills including stored procedures, functions, tables, indexes, triggers, views, etc.
  • 1-2 years of Web Development, Client/Server environments and application configuration experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies and scripting languages preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, especially as consultation and accurate communication with non-technical individuals on technical matters
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skill set 

Preferred:

  • Full stack development experience in a Windows environment using object-oriented programming
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Front-end: experience with Angular 1.3+, CSS, JavaScript, Vue
  • Back-end: .NET,  C#, SQL Server, Web service(REST, ODATA, WCF)
  • Experience architecting large software systems and enterprise integrations
  • Solid grasp and fluent in common design patterns
  • Tools: TFS, git, Visual Studio and VS Code
  • SharePoint 365
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Front-end: Sass, TypeScript, ES2017
  • Back-end: Oracle
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure
  • Other: Experience with CI/CD, UI/UX design skills
  • Strong frontend dev with familiarity to .NET backend and strong .NET dev with some hands-on front-end development skills
