Job Description

Volt has an opening for an Account Manager for our client in Rancho Cordova, CA. Volt's Client is the leading provider of vision care and coverage and they are committed to providing superior eye care and services that create members for life.

The Account Manager will act as expert advisor on client service and operations related items including client implementation, maintenance, analysis and problem resolution. Ensure the aging of accounts receivable for assigned clients are reconciled at a level consistent. 

Essential Functions 
-Gathers, analyzes, interprets and communicates group requirements and needs to other departments to ensure accurate information is available to support client’s plan design and to ensure client expectations are met. Implement strategic high-profile clients

-Interfaces with internal departments, clients, brokers, account executives and account managers to identify creative alternatives that will address and resolve client issues and problems; recommends solutions. 

-Consistently deliver a high level of service to achieve and maintain high satisfaction levels and support client and member retention 

-Research, resolve, and respond to issues and inquiries from clients and brokers and provide operational support; appropriately elevate situations with high profile clients that could have company impacts to drive solutions as needed 

-Accurate and timely post all accounts receivable, including the posting of live checks, lockbox checks, ACH wires and online automatic deductions to ensure the aging of accounts receivable for assigned clients are reconciled at a level consistent with financial controls 

Job Specifications 
-Typically has the following skills and abilities: 

-Two to four years of experience in account management or customer service 

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners 

-Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems requiring changes in priorities and workflow, or partnering with other units 

-Strong organization and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks 

-Must be detail oriented and accurate 

-Demonstrated problem solving, negotiations and decision-making skills 

-Strong critical thinking and analytical ability, with a solution-oriented approach to work 

-Ability to use appropriate discretion and judgment in applying accounts receivable guidelines. 

-Strong in a Windows environment with word processing and spreadsheet application 

-Strong math skills 

-Ability to type 35 wpm 

-Ability to perform 10-Key by touch (6,000 ksph) 

-Clean credit history as reported by credit report
