Job Description

We are seeking a Contracts Administrator for a blossoming contract career that can offer candidates many opportunities for growth as a vital member of an organizations. The temporary Contracts Administrator, under guidance from the Senior Contracts Manager, will be responsible for structuring contractual documents that establish business relationships with customers and/or partners.  In compliance with company policy, specifications and other requirements.  Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. With guidance from the Contracts Manager:
  2. Works with Product/Program Management to develop strategy for providing a timely and comprehensive response to internal requests for Product Supply Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Distributor Agreements and RFQ/RFPs
  3. Assists in the preparation of complex business proposals
  4. Coordinate non-standard commercial product quotations with Product/Program Managers to assure that customer requirements can be met.
  5. Responds to customer requests in a timely manner.
  6. Contracts Management.  With guidance from the Contracts Manager:
  7. Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, agreed upon specifications and requirements and conformance to master agreements.
  8. Manage entry of contractual data into appropriate Company databases (i.e. SAP, Legal IntraFLIR site, etc.) to assure that all customer contracts and orders accurately reflect FLIR’s obligations.
  9. Responds to customer requests in a timely manner.
  10. Nondisclosure Agreements:
  11. Manages nondisclosure agreement activity.
  12. Coordinates review of non-standard NDAs with Contracts Manager or Legal department as appropriate.
  13. Special Agreements and Document Templates:
  14. Reviews and provides input on selected Company agreements, correspondence, document templates (including, but not limited to, standard terms and conditions and nondisclosure agreements) and any other required documentation.
  • Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related education and experience.
  • Minimum of two to four years’ experience in Contract Administration in the high-technology, government, aerospace, commercial and international industries.
  • Strong Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and database management.
  • Familiarity with basic contract law and standard legal form and meanings – desired.
  • Must be able to communicate orally in writing using the English language
  • U.S. Citizen or valid Permanent Resident status required.

Compensation: $30 to $42 per hour, Negotiable and DOE.
