The New Media Games Studio is a part of Aristocrat's Digital Content organization, which is the fastest growing and most strategically forward looking part of our global business. We develop market leading social casino games for a variety of mobile and web platforms with a team of extremely high caliber professionals from a wide range of backgrounds.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who has experience with Unity engine and writing components in C#, and is a strong developer and eager to learn and expand their skill set. As an Aristocrat Software Engineer, you must work well within a team environment, be able to work with people from multiple disciplines, effectively integrate with remote teams, and be forward thinking.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle for our online and social gaming products; including designing, coding, debugging, and documenting game state flows.
  • Develop new game prototypes as well as help build components to make future game implementations easier.
  • Work closely with game design to gather requirements then accurately implement proof-of-concept games and features to facilitate iteration on new game concepts
  • Work with the development, platform, quality assurance teams, and managers to breakdown various software/platform system requirements. Help forecast individual tasks as well as collaborate with other developers on long term initiatives
  • Collaborate regularly with global teams to achieve deliverables.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For


  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer writing object-oriented software
  • 3+ years of experience with Unity engine and writing components in C#
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or additional 4 years of work experience
  • 1 year in a scripting language such as JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strongly team oriented, work closely with in-house & remote teams.
  • Comfortable using version control software such as Subversion, Git, Perforce, etc.


  • Slot machine development experience
  • OpenGL knowledge
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS debugging
