This is an estimated 6 month Contingent/Temporary position in Hillsboro, OR and offered through Volt Technical Resources. The Sr. Software Engineer must actively learn, demonstrate, and foster corporate culture in all actions and words.  This position will deliver functional requirements and technical solutions by coordinating with product owners, project teams, and IT cross-functional groups.  This position is responsible for specifying, designing, developing, testing, and documenting internal and external software with minimal direction.


The required qualifications for the position are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of proven software development experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience using C# to develop full-stack enterprise applications.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in web development.  Experience with mobile development a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience developing and interacting with RESTful Web Services.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Web Applications, Web Services, SOA development, Version Control System, Visual Studio .NET, and programming for the .NET platform.
  • Experience with SQL database development, including complex queries, advanced stored procedure development, and user-defined functions.  Extensive knowledge of programming and logic techniques.
  • Experience with web application development using JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, Ember.js, React, etc.).  Experience with Angular 2 or higher is preferred.
  • Broad knowledge and experience using HTML, CSS, and jQuery in web application development.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in unit testing (including .NET and JavaScript).
  • Experience in Development practices, analytical and conceptual thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting.  Ability to operate at a high level of independence utilizing advanced organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with E-commerce applications and high-availability design patterns.
  • Ability to articulate engineering design strategies related to scalability, performance, security, usability, and development platforms.
