Volt has an opening for a Sr Supply Chain Analyst for a client in Rancho Cordova, CA. We are looking for someone with experience in demand-supply planning and SAP. General Summary:

High potential to convert to an FTE.

The analyst will be responsible for demand-supply planning that covers 1-year and 3-year horizons, including optimization of cost-service strategies and models that support our business plan. They will also be a key contributor to Quality & Reliability operations, covering FDA code and procedure compliance and vendor collaboration and performance management. There will be a minimum expectation of Excel expertise (not just some experience) in creating/managing financial and business operations analyses and recommendations for meeting business goals, that include Excel-based spreadsheet model creation, forecasting, sensitivity analyses and general operations tracking/reporting. SAP experience and familiarity (or related ERP experience, e.g. Oracle, JDA, etc.) is mandatory.

Job Specifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing from an accredited college.

Eight years of related supply chain analysis experience

Demonstrated ability to conduct various types of analysis, including cost-benefit and alternative analysis

SAP Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Master Data experience required.

Advanced in spreadsheet applications and data reporting, modeling, and analytic systems (e.g. COGNOS, Excel, databases)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines

Strong business aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of financial and operational planning processes and best practices

Strong work ethic and flexible work style

Ability to regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties.

Proven ability to navigate complex situations through organizational landscape and with multiple stakeholders

Demonstrates ability to be a decision-maker showing balanced consideration of business issues
