Professionalism with a responsible work ethic, clear written and verbal communication skills, learning and adhering to company Quality Control procedures.  Candidate must demonstrate thorough understanding of surveying techniques and have a background with the Subdivision Map Act.  Candidate is expected to be able to effectively and efficiently use AutoCAD and Civil3D to produce survey maps from survey data with minimal oversight.  Candidate must demonstrate strong project management skills including scope, budget and scheduling control, strong project delivery experience including managing the in-house team and coordinating with project consultants, meet quality deliverable expectations, and experience with preparation of proposals / RFP’s / SOQ’s including scope and budget, exhibits for interviews and participation in interviews, and meeting with current and potential clients.  Assist in the development and decision making as it relates to the use and work flow of both Trimble Business Center and Trimble Access.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field, California professional registration, minimum of seven years of progressive experience, and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.  Preferred but not required to have experience using Spectra Survey Pro Field Collector software, and Trimble Business Center software and related utilities.  Valid CA driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be prepared to bend, crouch, lift and twist to carry out job duties.  Lift and carry instruments weighing up to 75 pounds over rough terrain.  Perform tasks such as clearing vegetation (including poison oak), digging holes, and/or pounding stakes with hand tools.  May be required to travel overnight.
