Staff Assistant II

$17-$21 hourly

Full time M-F

Our Client is a $2.8B Portland-based provider of financial products. The company's offerings include: group and individual disability insurance, group dental and vision insurance, retirement plans products and services, and investment advice. Established 100 years ago, our client offers the stability of an established firm with a collegial, high-touch service culture. We are looking for a Staffing Assistant II for an assignment in Downtown, Portland.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Prepare monthly and yearly reports drawing data from a variety of sources within the department
• Coordinate vendor services including file copying, mailing, travel, and lodging
• Maintain vendor relationships
• Participate in special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in an office environment
• High School diploma 
• Independent judgement, discretion, and customer service skills
• Professional demeanor, detail oriented and excellent verbal and written skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• Type 60 WPM
