Supplier Quality Engineer - Everett, WA

  • Participate and lead problem resolution with supplier material
  • Develop and implement plans to prevent problems with supplied material
  • Develop and implement supplier management programs
  • Report supplier performance and quality to management
  • Track and qualify or disqualify suppliers according to organization's standards
  • Maintain successful relationships with customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory departments
  • Participate in the Engineering Change Process to ensure proper suppliers chosen and Approved Vendor List is updated and managed effectively
  • Assist in efforts across other teams or departments to assure success of all projects


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred 


  • 2 – 5 years progressive experience in a quality capacity (Quality Engineer and Supplier Quality Engineer roles previously.)
  • Need to be a problem solver who uses analytical skills to find “out of the box” solutions to quality-related issues.
  • Communication skills that are succinct and clear with customers, colleagues and shop floor.
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, suppliers, managers, or co-workers of the organization
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to modify activities and direction with an ever-changing business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Possess a professional attitude and promote the same in others
  • Creative thinking and ability to handle details
  • Self-directed
  • Strong teaming skills
  • Extensive electronic systems knowledge, analyzing information and reporting research results.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronics equipment problems and perform complex system tests striving for quality.
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, technical drawings and manuals, correspondence, and memos
