Direct Placement Opportunity: Supply Chain Coordinator

Volt has partnered with an Electronics Manufacturing company that is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team!

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of supply chain management experience with preferably a significant amount in manufacturing

  • Candidate will have a successful track record supporting complex procurement and supply chain initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Strong foundation in using an ERP system with hands-on MRP experience required

Job Duties:

  • Participation and collaboration with company leaders, championing directives and working together strategically to strengthen and grow the company. Set and achieve corporate goals and objectives.
  • Create and maintain WI's per company policies.
  • Constant monitoring and evaluation of of our inventory levels.
  • Ensure month end collaboration.
  • Create, track and report the team KPIs and install countermeasures as necessary
  • Establish well-defined escalation procedures.
  • In liaison with the business divisions, identify the purchasing needs and offer procurement support.
  • Proactively create and monitor long term strategies in order to decrease the lead times and to improve service to customers across the board.
  • Maintain and constantly develop our supplier base in order to: -identify strategic suppliers
  • Decrease cost and improve lead times
  • Improve overall quality of our supplier service
  • Enforce supply chain compliance with financial control policies and procedures to ensure quick resolutions of problems
  • Inventory turnaround. Customer satisfaction.
  • Complete cooperation at all levels with an emphasis on reporting to the Finance
  • Department to ensure timely and smooth close.
  • Timely tracking and reporting of results. Counter measures created for correcive action and timely turnaround.
  • Delivery performance and service level towards customers.
  • Relationship with other divisions.
  • Smoothness of supply chain operations and delivery performance
  • Cost reduction and decreased lead time. Customer feedback on overall willingness to help and find solutions.
  • Manage and reduce inventories by defining and deploying related policies, process and tools (e.g. ERP set up, ABC classification, excess management)
  • Manage and improve Supplier OTD by defining and deploying development plan (e.g. supplier audit, safety stock, VMI)
  • Manage Customer OTD on a regular base, define and deploy related improvement plan throughout the organisation
  • Implement and manage effective end-to-end processes like procurement to pay, order to cash or plan to procure
  • Proactive approach towards Key Accounts in order to implement proper Logistics Agreements/Concepts
  • All other duties as assigned
