Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

Location: Seattle, WA

Job Description

The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing tactical and strategic supply plans, and establishing inventory levels for assigned production materials or finished goods to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives. Ensures that the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customer demand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Service/Metrics - Help planner to answer & react to service issues on CPG items. Pull consumption analysis.
  • CPG IPT’s – build daily loads for CPG deployment outbound lanes – from all 4 roasting plants.
  • Past due supply & expedites – research late loads, hot inbound monitoring & managing expedites
  • Pull reports for PSI’s, Stock-Out/Lows, At-Risk for Tactical meetings.
  • PIM Item setup – NIR’s, UPORG’s, and UPAT’s as needed
  • NPP – help planners monitor timelines and actions completed
  • Roll stock pricing & initial orders – support materials planner by pulling volumes of new items for pricing, and signaling plant planners for initial orders
  • MRB inventory – submit Actions in IHMT to disposition past due inventories; submit RSL extensions as requested; research Lots in MRB not past pull
  • Item transitions – monitor ramp-down of old materials; readiness of new materials & reporting of transition dates.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Basic supply planning experience
  • Production planning
  • Inventory control
  • Deployment planning
  • Oracle planning systems experience preferred
  • Intermediate skill with MS Excel (general formula knowledge)

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Work experience can be considered in place of formal education.
