Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring immediately for a Configuration and Data Management Anaylst in St. Petersburg, FL

Must have a current US Secret security clearance

Configuration and Data Management (CDM) support for the our clients's Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business area on the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) programs located in St. Petersburg, FL.The candidate must be able to provide sound Configuration and Data Management (CDM) related technical judgment for ensuring compliance, including appropriate tailoring to customer requirements, supporting as required ISO/CMMI/MAP compliance audits. The DM discipline ensures the Contract Data Requirement List / Subcontract Data Requirement List (CDRL/SDRL) are identified, recorded, assigned to appropriate disciplines, and tracked IAW SP0038 (Formal Data Management).

The position requires great attention to detail with respect to managing hardware and software development environments and program technical data, understanding of ITAR/EXIM processes and technical marking of documentation. Candidate must be an advocate of continuous process improvements. 

 Tasking includes use of CM tools for configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, product release and delivery. Initiate and/or direct the preparation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Deviation (RFD). Identify problems and provide solutions to a variety of CM technical problems and be proficient in the use and administration of version control tools. DM creates and monitors the CDRL/SDRL submittal schedule and forecast and resolves data issues, distributes schedule notices for pending data submittals to assure on-time delivery and creates status reports for management review and action. DM reviews the deliverable program data to determine completeness, including technical editing responsibility and submits to the customer as specified in the contract. In addition to formal deliveries, DM posts non-deliverables and artifacts to the customer website and submits transmittal letters for traceability of documentation as well as tracks contractor and customer comments for artifacts submitted for adjudication.

Required Education:    BS/BA in a major related to this job description. 8+ years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of BS/BA (2 years of related experience equals 1 year of College).
