Job Description

Bottling Line Workers Needed!

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under close supervision, carries out all assigned work functions performed in the Bottling Department.  Employee may rotate between uncasing, stacking, package inspection stations and bottling line cleanup and or rework.


General production work includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Uncasing Station:  Place empty glass cases onto case conveyor, confirm that glass / carton is correct, monitor uncasing unit. 
  • Quality Control Inspection: Following specifications to ensure proper application and compliance of laser code, fill level, label, foil and cork.
  • Bottling Line Cleanup: Responsible for facilitating rework/reconditioning, general clean up and housekeeping of any assigned area(s).
  • May be required to operate bottling line equipment.
  • Follows standard operating procedures in the performance of all bottling activities to ensure maximum productivity and wine quality objectives are achieved.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to timely and accurate reporting of all work-related injuries and illnesses to the supervisor, promoting safety awareness to co-workers, advising the supervisor of any unsafe acts and conditions and wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Able to document work and perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to work as a team with all winery employees
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including graveyard
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Bilingual preferred.


The bottling line presents a challenging environment and may present exposure to hazardous conditions.  Hearing and eye protection equipment is required in all bottling areas.   Alertness and the ability to quickly respond to equipment malfunctions are required.  Walking up and down stairs, ladders, bending, excessive standing and walking are required. 

Minimum - Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

Irregular shifts, including swing, graveyard, and long hours may be required.

Work hours may be affected by bottling equipment failures.
