Job Description

System Engineering and Maintenance Manager

This company which offers test, measurement and monitoring products and software that are used in electronic design, manufacturing, and network troubleshooting, as well as in electrical, industrial, medical, process and calibration applications is seeking a Systems Engineering & Maintenance Manager for a full-time direct hire role in their Everett, WA. 

Oversees and assures the set up and operation of all standard machines, including tools and equipment, as well as custom automated machinery, recommending design changes in equipment, material and/or procedures as needed.

  • Prioritizes and maintains work schedules based on production deadlines and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Periodically checks machining operations to ensure operations are working to tolerance.
  • Maintains reporting system that reflects schedules, performance and procedures.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations for capital expenditures and manpower for manufacturing sites.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the functions.
  • Owns all machine and tool PM's and calibration schedules and is responsible for the sites TPM program.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree from an accredited program, preferably Manufacturing, Plastics or Process
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering
  • 2-4 years of maintenance or machining experience.
  • Self starter, self motivated, works well in a team environment
  • Root cause analysis using various problem solving methodologies
  • Ability to exercise judgement within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Must build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize work and understand impact of duties
  • Respond to metric/goal driven environment, takes initiative to meet goals
  • Preferably has experience with CMMS software packages
  • Experience with electronics or as an electrician preferred
  • Lean thinking and mindset key to the success of the position.
  • This job falls under ITAR regulations and requires US Citizenship or Green Card Holder to be considered for the role.
