Position: Business Analyst 
Type: Contingent
Duration: 12 Months 
Location: Portland OR

Summary:
The Systems Support Analyst IV ensures the team is providing quality and timely support services to internal and external customers. This position also liaisons with other departments to ensure validity of all policy and procedural changes. Must have an understanding of the corporate goals, practice, promote and teach skills and behaviors in support of these goals.

Job Specifications:

  1. Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field.
  2. Experience: 5+ year’s demonstrated experience in providing technical application support and customer service in a professional environment, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. 
  3. Agile experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
50% - Develop and monitor metrics to drive clear service standards and process consistency for timeliness and accuracy; reinforce results with team. Triage workload using advanced problem solving ability. Mentors and trains team members in their assigned functions, administers and coordinates day to day team activities, works closely, and liaisons with other groups and departments to provide the best system support possible. Communicates with key business stakeholders, providing additional assistance or clarification on requests as needed. Prioritizes work and ensures service levels are met.

40% - Document and communicate the inter-relationships between systems to Business Systems Analysts, key business and IT stakeholders. Understand the business interactions and criticality of the systems and provide recommendations to Business System Analysts, key business and IT stakeholders in support of new functionality and changes to existing functionality. Review project implementation plans to assess any needed changes to the Systems Support Team model in order to support the business. Lead team members during the systems enhancement request process.

10% - Ensures compliance for systems by leading in auditing for SOX controls for all systems and ensures processes are consistently documented and up to date with current system practices and functionalities. Create reports for management and customers as needed.
