Job Description

The Systems Analyst, Sr – Specialty role contributes to Starbucks success by guiding solution delivery by gathering the business requirements, designing solutions and deploying them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as contact for all users on system issues or problems.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and track software and hardware issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational.
  • Develop recommendations and coordinate issue resolution with Information Technology (IT) and outside service providers based on business unit priorities.
  • Document and communicate problem resolution.
  • Analyze current processes, tools, system or database and makes recommendations for development, improvement or simplification.
  • Identify, design, and deploy complex technology and process solutions establishing key business capabilities enabling the realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Apply expertise and leadership skills in requirements analysis, solution design, and process improvement, coupled with the demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively influence across various IT and business functions.
  • In addition to leading the delivery of new technology and guiding the enhancement/support of existing systems, contribute technical, functional, and process expertise, provide leadership, drive innovation, negotiate and facilitate alignment, and foster the development of less-experienced analysts.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have Oracle PIM/MDM and Oracle Supply Chain.
  • Must have master data management (MDM) related experience with Oracle PIM (Product Information Management) and Supplier HUB.
  • Candidate should be able to lead, participate and collaborate in multiple complex projects without much oversight and drive work to completion effectively in self-directed manner.
  • Candidate should be an expert in gathering business requirements, arriving at solution design, writing functional design and performing system testing.
  • Candidate should be able to create test plan, test strategy and complete the various testing to sign-off.
  • Ideal candidate has experience with Oracle workflows and reporting capabilities.
  • Candidate must have experience with data conversion strategies using ETL tools.
  • Candidate should be proficient with PL/SQL and familiar with ITSM, HP QC.
  • Candidate must have excellent time management skills: Prioritization and execution with minimal supervision.
  • Prefer candidate with excellent communication skills to engage with various teams, senior leadership, technical and business resources.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Agile Methodologies and Waterfall techniques.
  • Candidate should have experience implementing MDM solution operation support in one or more – Product HUB, Supplier HUB.
  • Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and deal with ambiguity.

EDUCATION
Some higher education experience is preferred.
