Job Description

Volt has an opening for a Senior Systems Architect Analyst for a client in Rancho Cordova, CA to effectively contribute to technology selection and deployment process for most strategic business and technology outcomes. Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement security architecture solutions using formal risk management methodologies
  • Determine security requirements
  • Acts in an advisory role in application development
  • Serve as an Information Security architect/consultant
  • Provide ad-hoc consultancy services on Information Security topics
  • Act as design expert in the implementation of authentication and authorization technologies and systems (i.e., SAML, OAuth, OTP, Kerberos, LDAP)
  • Support Incident Response Team in conducting security research on threats and remediation techniques
  • Taking a lead role in conducting security research
  • Define Security Architecture
  • Lead design and plan risk mitigation and security solutions
  • Work closely with the client to guide Information Security direction and solutions
  • Advise on data security issues, compliance, and privacy requirements including HIPAA, ISO, NIST, SOC 2, Sarbanes Oxley, SSAE16
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cloud security
  • Perform security design reviews
  • Research latest security best practices

Job Specifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience 
  • Eight years of experience in related field 
  • Expertise in enterprise-wide technology and system integration 
  • Excellent technological vision 
  • Read and write current programming languages
  • Excellent knowledge of software and systems design patterns
  • Broad knowledge of the systems across the enterprise 
  • Excellent planning and facilitation skills 
  • Experience leading technology projects; demonstrated ability to collaborate, direct, mentor and train others to optimal outcomes 
  • Strategic view of where business is headed and how technology may be  leveraged
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual design skills and strong problem-solving skills 
  • Requires broad knowledge of current technology developments and trends
  • Data Modeling skills 
  • Identify and mitigate risks; contribute to risk management plan
