Job Title: Systems Integration Specialist

Job Summary:  Design/Configure/Develop/Maintain integration protocols of customer soruced timekeeping data into company systems.  Maintaining ongoing relationships with customer and key company personnel, while managing weekly integration activities. These may comprise procedures developed by the department or from outside sources. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage time data integration activity.
  • Engineering and supporting complex integration solutions. 
  • Coordinate with Customers, Web-Tools, branch offices & corporate departments to ensure accurate and timely integration of customer time data.
  • Identify trends and recurring issues, if any, in source data, escalating as necessary with a focus on continual process improvement.
  • Resolve issues/concerns as they arise on a proactive basis with branch staff, Customers and management as needed.
  • Provide management with feedback on ways to improve the work environment, procedures and work performed.
  • Communicate with corporate departments, branches and customers as needed to improve processes for customer and business needs.
  • Data Translation facilitating import to company systems via multiple sources and formats.
  • Data validation and exception reporting.
  • Ensure excellent customer service within a business environment that values accuracy, timeliness, efficiency and continuous success.
  • May lead special projects and support implementations.
  • Provide Customer Service both internally and externally, in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide management with feedback on ways to improve the work environment, procedures and work performed.
  • May lead special projects and support implementations.
  • Follow established policies and procedures to ensure all processing deadlines are met, inform supervisor in a timely manner if any deadlines are at risk.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned and as required.

Knowledge of:

  • General accounting principles and practices.
  • Payroll, Accounts receivable, billing processes and principles, account reconciliation techniques.
  • PeopleSoft applications or equivalent complex Accounting systems.

Skills and/or Experience:

  • 2 – 4 years of related experience
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Spreadsheet Software (Excel)
  • Database Software (Access, Beginner/Intermediate)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively, to demonstrate strong organizational skills and to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to collaborate with staff, peers, Vendors, On-Sites, branches, corporate departments and customers as necessary to achieve objectives
  • Ability to effectively communicate – both verbal and written
