This is for our Wonderful Client in Richland, WA.  You must be willing to relocate at your own expense

Contract role 12+ months

This Scheduler/Planner role is a Unit Coordinator at a Nuclear Power Plant, responsible for developing and publishing the Standard Operating Cycle schedule, prioritizing work requests, and working with various departments to ensure work is scheduled accordingly. Also, the Unit Coordinator is the primary liaison between plant and customer. Ensure work is on schedule, communicate down power plans and major electrical system outages to minimize simultaneous grid work.

Principal Accountabilities –
1) Work with plant organizations to determine work scope for upcoming work weeks (45% of the time).
2) Lead the effort in prioritizing work requests to ensure work is scheduled according to its priority (30% of the time).
3) Develop, maintain, and publish the standard operating cycle schedule (10%).
4) Act as focal point for interaction with the customer (15%).
Required Education and Experience –
Requires a high school diploma/GED and at least five years of experience in the nuclear power industry and a minimum of four years previous operations, maintenance or engineering supervisor/management experience
OR
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least six years of experience in the nuclear power industry and a minimum of two years previous operations, maintenance or engineering supervisor/management experience
OR
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in the nuclear power industry in operations, maintenance or engineering.
An additional four years of nuclear experience may be considered in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.

AND

Knowledge of Asset Suite computer program
Desired Education and Experience –
1) A bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university is preferred. A reactor operator or senior reactor operator license or certification is desired.
2) Understanding of work management at a nuclear facility (AP928 and AP913 knowledge)
3) Understanding and experience in maintenance at a commercial nuclear facility
4) Knowledge of the concept of functional equipment grouping
5) Working to Advanced knowledge of PRIMAVERA P6 scheduling tool
Required Abilities and Skills –
1) Effective communication skills.
2) Capable computer skills, including Office and advanced Excel.
3) Must be able to influence others.
4) Ability to interface with management and outside agencies and organizations.
5) Must possess keen interpersonal skills and be able to function as part of a team, which includes directing work and encouraging teamwork.
