Technical Customer Support Representative - $16/ hour

24x7x365 high-availability call center environment

Variety of 4/10 shifts available

Volt has partnered with Verifone in support of their Tucson facility! We are looking for motivated, friendly, and tech savvy customer support professionals to work in their beautiful new call center in east Tucson.

A Verifone Customer Support Representative supports users with troubleshooting Verifone products through a unique blend of customer focus and technical expertise. This position is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting customer requests and issues via phone, chat, and email within a high-volume call center environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists customers with installation, operational, maintenance and or training related inquiries for products and applications.

  • Assists team members with customer call support.

  • Follows documentation and training materials to diagnose, resolve and escalate customers’ calls.

  • Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.

  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations while coordinating with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of customer service practices and procedures
  • Strong telephone and communications skills

  • Recent 2 years of call center experience

  • Demonstrated self-control and empathy with customer situations.

  • Practical computer skills including use of MS Windows and MS Office

  • Familiarity with standard internet technologies

  • Help Desk experience preferred but not required

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the payment processing industry

  • Accurately type 25 words per minute

This position pays $16.00/ hour and is a contingent to hire opportunity.
